Realization of new reporting requirements from the departments towards SAP R/3

The following tasks were performed by PROSOL team members:

  • Analysis of the requirements towards LIS (Logistics Information System)
  • Feasibility study about the realization within LIS or as a BW application
  • Creation of an implementation design for the requirements
  • Implementation support

Analysis of applicability of SAP R/2 or, respectively, R/3 for the mapping of target processes within the framework of the PU (Prozess Unternehmensmodell, meaning process enterprise model) project, consisting in the realignment of the company for future market requirements

The following tasks were performed by PROSOL team members:

  • Project Lead, project management
  • Planning of SAP implementation and respective staff assignment
  • Check of designed processes for the possibility of mapping them in SAP, alternatively R/2 or R/3;
    basic design of DP landscape and interfaces, especially to the downstream systems such as SAP R/2 RF
  • Elaboration of decision proposals; functional specification within the framework of the PU project, especially for the SAP R/3 SD implementation for customer’s settlement
  • Design of the mapping of business transactions, which are subject to settlement, in SAP
  • Coordination with and design of interfaces to financial and cost accounting departments, statistical system and PU customer master data
  • Supporting the project team with customizing of first prototype
  • Implementation of SAP R/3 SD Rel. 3.1i for customer’s settlement
  • Coordination of embedding the SAP R/3 implementation into the landscape of remaining in-house developments
  • Design of interfaces to up and downstream interfaces via IDOCS
  • Support with the realization of a COBOL application and with its integration into the SAP system 

 

 

Best practice analysis within the framework of the CPU (Cargo Projekt Unternehmensmodell, meaning cargo project enterprise model) project, consisting in the realignment of the company for future market requirements

 

The following tasks were performed by PROSOL team members:

  • Project Lead
  • Creation of target processes for processing “third-party settlement”
  • Check of processes for the possibility of mapping them with standard software packages (SAP R/2 or R/3, Baan)
  • Elaboration of decision proposals

The following software was implemented: SAP R/3 (PM, SD, FI, BW)
